Meet Nowshin Jahan — The Founder Behind Look N Feel
My name is Nowshin Jahan. I am the founder and lead event planner of Look N Feel – Event Solutions, and this journey began on October 5, 2016 — not as a business plan, but as a deeply personal calling, shaped by art, culture, and the belief that life’s most meaningful moments deserve to be honoured with real intention.
Long before I became an event planner, I was drawn to creativity in its most instinctive form. In my youth, I painted, designed Mehendi patterns for relatives during henna ceremonies, and created Alpana motifs for Gaye Holud celebrations in our family. Those early expressions of art planted in me a lifelong love for beauty, cultural tradition, and the quiet power of emotional storytelling.
Alongside this creative passion, I pursued an MBA — a chapter that sharpened my understanding of strategy, leadership, and disciplined execution. I then began my professional career at an advertising agency, working on brand activations and corporate events. That experience taught me how to translate a vision into a brief, a brief into a plan, and a plan into a flawlessly delivered experience — even when everything around you is moving at once. The creative instinct and the operational discipline grew together, and that combination quietly became the foundation of how Look N Feel works today.
Everything changed after I became a mother.
When my son turned one, I knew I wanted to create something special — entirely by hand, entirely from the heart. I planned and decorated his first birthday on my own, pouring love into every colour, every corner, every small detail. The response overwhelmed me. Family and guests were deeply moved — and in a quiet but unforgettable moment, my husband placed 5,000 Taka in my hands as a gesture of appreciation and belief.
It was not the amount that mattered.

That moment became the beginning of Look N Feel – Event Solutions.
Soon, relatives began asking me to design their celebrations. One event led to another, and what began as intimate family gatherings gradually grew into a professional vocation. From birthdays within our extended family to full-scale weddings for clients across Dhaka, I built Look N Feel on one clear and unwavering belief — that every milestone in a person’s life deserves to be truly felt, not merely seen.
